The city of New York was still very much protected, however, ever since the avengers disbanded. It didn’t feel the same. Ironman still hung around. He was still billionaire ex-playboy Tony Stark. The only real difference was was that he and pepper had finally gotten married and had a family. Dr. Bruce Banner, of course, was still trying to find a way to reverse the effects. No one could really blame him. It couldn’t be pleasant, being the Hulk. Hawkeye and black widow still ran together. They were still agents and assassins were needed and though they didn’t talk about it often, anyone they came into contact  with was pretty sure they were dating. Thor was trying to separate his time evenly between middle guard and Asgard. Of course, this was no easy feat. But since he now had a daughter and a nephew to take care of, because Loki was incapable of taking care of the child. He spent more time on middle guard. As far as Capt. America was concerned, mostly team had accepted the fact that he probably went and rejoined the military. It seemed a fitting thing for him as he never truly got over it. But then again, how could he? He had Bucky back. Finally, note they fixed him, so it seemed natural to everyone that he and Bucky would go to join the Army and be modern day soldiers. And then on the other topic was Nick fury since SHIELD went down. He had a lot of time to think and he realized something, SHIELD needed the avengers more than the avengers needed SHIELD.
So it became obvious to Nick fury that if he wanted to protect New York. He needed the avengers. But of course he wanted to protect more than New York, but it seemed a good place to start. The problem was was none of the members had spoken since they disbanded, except for Hawkeye and black widow who still work together. He became obvious to him that it was time to try and force a meeting. So was only matter time before he managed to get them all in the same was very quiet and very awkward. No one really knew what to say so Thor took initiative.
“Brothers and sister. It has been quite a long time, has it not? Why do we sit here in silence, now tell me of your plights since our last meeting.” Even after all these years of living on middle guard, Young God had not mastered the art of the indoor voice. His was as loud and boisterous full of joy, as it has always been.
“Well, let’s see, me and pepper got married. We have three sons and a daughter… And well I’m still protecting New York here.” Tony Stark offered this as an answer and everyone just kind of looked at him, not really sure what to say to him. He was the bravest moment for actually having the best open his mouth and answer. But after this the room fell quiet again.
“Hey Capt., who’s your friend?” As soon as black widow said this. Steve looked behind him, only to realize his son had once again ducked behind his leg. He signed in annoyance, shaking his head, trying to force the little boy out. He was strong, but he was also afraid of hurting his son.
“This is my son, Terrence come on out, don’t you want to meet your father’s friends?” Naturally he tried coaxing the boy out, he thought was a natural, how shy he was even for a child. After all, he was approaching seven he was a student. His father couldn’t quite figure out why he didn’t socialize well, but that didn’t really matter. It was the fact that he didn’t. Capt. Steve Rogers felt that his son should know how to socialize, the people skills were exceedingly important.
“No, I don’t want to really meet them… They are your friends, not mine.” Steve physically picked his son up and put them in front of him irritated. He tried not to lose his temper, but being a captain was one thing running a team, telling people what to do. Being a father was very different, it wasn’t that he could just tell his somewhat to do. While he could but it wasn’t like the military, his son could be rebellious and argue and he couldn’t court-martial him for that. All he could do was ground him, give him a spanking. Send them to the corner or send him to his room. It left a bitter taste in his mouth.
“Terrence Anthony Rogers, that is enough.” His voice is firm, “don’t you go to school with Joshua Stark? Why haven’t you said hello to him?” It was true Joshua and Terrence went to the same school, but they were two very different people, and naturally he didn’t feel like socializing with Josh.
The domesticity of the scene made Nick fury role his eyes. This was going nowhere, so far from what he could tell no one really wanted to talk to anyone. It was all about their families now which he understood they had children that they needed to take care. However, New York needed them just as much as their children did New York itself was a big baby. Not that he didn’t enjoy hearing about the children, but he kind of figured that once the team reassembled, he would have to watch the children while their parents ran off and did superhero things. Most people would’ve assumed that the big-time director would be bothered by this, rather he kind of looked forward to it. The first thing was first he had to get the team back together.
“Why don’t we let the children play? That way the adults can have grown up talk.” Nick offered this his deep voice wasn’t really offering it was more of an order.
“Joshua, play nice with Terrence and your sisters and well everyone.” Tony knew how his son could be, he was a little stuck up because he knew that he was rich and daddy could get him out of anything. He didn’t like how much Josh had turned out to be like him, he certainly hoped he outgrew it.
“Terrence you to, you play nice and do me a favor? Actually play with someone.” Steve knew this was pointless. His son didn’t like to socialize and he doubted that  would change. But he knew better than anyone that a man could dream.
“My daughter, Dana play well with the other children and conceal your strength. Do not harm anyone, for they are friends not foe. And, in nephew Tara, I ask you to do the same thing that young Terrence must. actually socialize. Play and have fun in your youth do not concern yourself with the adults talk I will share all later.” Thor said this as though it upset him. His daughter was a wonderful young woman, but could play a little roughly from time to time, and his nephew, being young and foolish approaching the age of nine, had a tendency to be closed off due to his heritage.
The adults left the room making sure that the children were comfortable before they left. Some of Nick’s  agents stayed behind to keep an eye on the children. In a way it was also to make sure that they didn’t miss behave or call their parents out of the meeting because God forbid that one of them should fall and scrape their knee.
Dana, Josh, and his sisters all played together. Dana tried to coax her cousin to come and play, though it was in vain, as she know very well that would be. Dana was always trying to be a good cousin, but that didn’t always mean that it was welcomed. It got to the point where Dana had to give up and go play. Of course, Tara was not alone. He was sitting with Terrence. The two sat in complete silence. Not really paying attention to each other, but they knew that the other one was there. It seems simple as though the other one’s presence was enough to keep them company. For the longest of time. Not a word was spoken between the two. Terrence had been taught proper etiquette so he decided to use the manners that his father taught him, for fear of getting a spanking.
       “Hi, I’m Terrence Rogers. I’m 6 ¾ years old. What’s your name?”
“Hello there, my name is Tara Lokison. My father is Loki, the God of mischief also a frost giant. He kind of sort of killed a lot of people in New York. You know the saying, like father like son? I fear for that saying. Unfortunately, it is probably true, and I will probably be a psychopathic murderer.” Terry wasn’t sure how to respond to that. His father had taught them how to respond to many kinds of people. If a person was sad you try to console them, if a person is happy you smiled along with them, if a person was mad. You helped calm them down. That was black and white, but could be done about someone who thought they were going to be a killer. Because of their family? Terry stared at him for a good 15, 20 minutes.
“You won’t be a killer, because I’ll be your best friend and I won’t allow it.” Terry thought that answer over after he said it, and decided that it was good enough, he meant it. So that should be enough right?
“How? How will you stop me a demigod, while actually a full God!”
“One that’s simple, a just beat you up. Two, your uncle will stop you. And last, my father’s Capt. America, he can beat anyone.” Terrence was a lot smarter than people give him credit for.
“Okay, thank you for protecting me and the city. Your real hero!”
After that day, the boys were inseparable. If you wanted to find one, all you had to do was find the other.
This is part 1 of the 100 theme challenge. Anyone who knows me knows that I have trouble completing it. However, I have a system this time I have about 10 of them already written. I will continue to write them but only post on Tuesday. Problem solved! Please enjoy

It's a  very familiar avengers scene and it happens a lot I'm sure. It was written well except for your grammar. I don't however think that Captain America would be the kind of parent that would worry about there child getting hurt even if he is sick (and if he his sick he'd be going to the hospital all the time anyway so Cap won't complain about money. He would never complain about money no matter what anyway). That's a very modern view on parenting to coddle your child. Steve is from the 40's and he would treat his son with tough love most of the time and be kind and gentle after his son got hurt not before. He also won't approve of Terrance hiding behind his leg because it's encouraging shyness. And one last thing if Pepper is there why isn't Captain's wife there? And don't tell me his not married I won't accept that. She can't be dead either.

I love Captain America and I don't mean to be critical but it's necessary.
